About Kelley Eileen Moon
Board certified in pediatric advanced life support, basic life support, family medicine, and advanced cardiac life support, Dr. Kelley Eileen Moon is the owner of family practice and urgent care clinic MD2 in Texas. She is one of two physicians in the office and is responsible for the company’s financials and staff, along with its day-to-day operations. The office provides stress tests, EKGs, immunizations, and physicals, and Dr. Kelley Eileen Moon also runs an allergy lab.
Kelley Moon received her bachelor of science in kinesiology/biology from the University of Texas at Austin and her MD from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She completed her family practice residency at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she was awarded the Teaching Resident of the Year award in 2001. During her time there, she worked at several urgent care clinics and ERs in the area, which gave her additional experience in the field. She was working at Halifax Hospital ER as an ER physician immediately prior to opening her own practice.
In addition to the commitment Dr. Moon has to her patients, she is also active within her community. She supports the FFA county fair, Christ Episcopal School Auction, Ducks Unlimited, and Driving Jacks. She also participated in an Alive After Five event hosted by MD2 and Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.
